Taking my friend from India out for his first paddle board experience.
Choosing one of Louisiana's many tributaries to explore can be daunting. There are too many good ones to choose from. After a trail run the previous day at Sam Houston Jones State Park, we decided to return to explore her waters. The boat launch was bustling with fellow paddle boarders and kayak fishermen. We leisurely paddled by the many camps and houses on the river, dreaming of how relaxing it would be living in one. Rising every morning with some meditation, prayer, yoga, and reading each morning overlooking the river. I let my guest pick the confluence of Houston River and West Fork to be our turnaround point for our morning adventure.
