Rock climbing in Central Texas

Before I take others out real rock climbing I met up with an old gym climbing friend for her first outdoor sport climb, in exchange for her climbing critiquing, safety knowledge, and paramedic skills. Amongst a few lingering bluebonnets and blossoming prickly pears, we climbed at Reimer's Ranch and in Austin at Barton Creek Greenbelt. Besides a super scary episode with a falling rock, overall it was a great outing. We both gained very valuable experience. I love Central Texas!
